Since we are not yet making appointments to visit us in person, in return for your $20 application fee, you will receive a copy of my third book, “Miss Vera’s Cross Gender Fun for All” and you will be placed on our private newsletter list to stay up to date and be among the first to know when online classes begin or in person visits resume. How To Enroll For An On-Campus Course

Why an Enrollment Application?

The enrollment application is a very important step in your admission to Miss Vera’s Academy (MVA). Whether you are interested in lessons on-campus or telephone coaching, it is a vital tool. Submission of the application let’s us know that your intentions are serious, that you are ready, willing and able to learn, have fun and enjoy this experience. The information you supply helps us to plan your curriculum and your wardrobe. We expect that before you apply to MVA you will carefully look over this site and what we have to offer and review our courses, faculty and tuition schedule. The FAQ is especially informative.

There are three ways you can apply. The fastest and most convenient way is via email. The most personal way is to schedule a one-on-one consultation with Miss Vera. Snail mail is also an option.

Via email

Please download our enrollment application. Open the application form, fill in the blanks, and save the completed form. Then attach the completed form to an email with Application Form in the subject field, and send it to . A bill for the $20 application fee will be sent to you via return email at the address you specify.

Personal Consultation

If you are in the New York area, you may schedule a half-hour consultation with Miss Vera or her assistant. If you have not brought the completed application with you, you can complete one at that time. You can also ask questions. There is a $100 consultation fee for this private interview which should be presented in crisp clean bills and in a pink envelope (or you can decorate a white one). What we look for in a student is an upbeat attitude and the desire to explore.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition covers fees for the lovely deans who are your instructors. The deans are experts in their fields and happy to help you be the best you can be. Whether indoors or out, you are always in the company of two caring deans. For more details see Course Descriptions. Tuitions are as follows:

$175 per hour

Souvenir photos are included in your class fee, videos are extra. All tuition fees are plus expenses incurred outside the Academy. Expenses include items such as meals, tickets and other entrance fees for you and the two deans who accompany you. Taxis are not extra but special cars and limos are. All of this is explained in detail at the time that you book. We are very mindful of your purse, but if you would like to live like a queen, we can also help you do that.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your class. Deposits need to be sent within 48 hours from the time we decide on the date and duration of your class. Should you need to reschedule, provided you give us 24 hours notice (48 hours for Femme Intensives), your deposit is applied to your rescheduled class. If you cancel the second class, unless it's for a very good reason, you will forfeit your deposit.

At present, we accept payments in cash or by personal check, traveler's check or money order, payable to Veronica Vera, or by credit cards via PayPal. You don't have to have a PayPal account to use this service.
